In a grand display of appreciation and camaraderie, the Honourable Minister of State for Regional Development, His Excellency, Hon. Uba Maigari Ahmadu was celebrated at an exclusive dinner party held in his honour on Thursday, 6th February 2025.
In his opening address, the CEO of Goldmine Global Services Ltd and President of Nigerian Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NICCI Mr. Ishmael Adegorioye Balogun, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests to the dinner and thanked them for their precious time despite their busy schedules.
The event, organised by a group of businesses namely, Prime Next Logistics, Goldmine Global Services Ltd and ATREX Global Procurement Company Ltd in collaboration with its business partners, took place at the prestigious Blu Cabanna in Abuja.
The intimate gathering brought together a distinguished audience, including high-profile dignitaries, business leaders, and close associates of the Minister. Among those in attendance were the APC National Deputy women leader, Haj Zainab A. Ibrahim, H.E. Mrs. Hauwa Ahmad Tahar, Amb. Usman Ari Ogah; Amb. Orjiakor Humphrey, Mr. Abubakar Yerima, Prof. Salawudeen Bin Ahmed, Mrs. Shade Balogun, Mr. Seun Faleye, Directors of NICCI and several other eminent personalities also graced the occasion.

The evening was filled with warmth and appreciation as guests showered accolades on Hon. Uba Maigari Ahmadu for his outstanding service in his previous role as the Minister of State for Steel Development and his new mandate as Minister of State for Regional Development. His dedication, commitment, and remarkable contributions to national development were recognised with heartfelt speeches and commendations from friends, family, and colleagues.
In his address, the Minister expressed deep gratitude for the honour bestowed upon him. “I give all glory to the Almighty for granting me this opportunity to serve,” he remarked. “I am not the best, but I have been chosen by grace, and I will continue to work diligently to justify this trust.”
A highlight of the evening was the address by the CEO of Primenext Logistics, Capt. Giorgio Del Celo, who commended the minister for his open-arm leadership and his readiness to listen to the concerns and advice of the business community. He emphasised that the Minister’s approachable demeanour and responsiveness have been pivotal in fostering greater and more inclusive regional development in Nigeria.
