The Nigerian-Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) participated in the SheExports Conference 2026, held on 30 June 2026 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, under the theme “Produce. Add Value. Export: A Catalyst for Sustainable Economic Growth.”
The conference brought together key stakeholders from government, financial institutions, export promotion agencies, development organizations, and the private sector. Notable speakers included Hon. @akinyemiajigbotafe, Lagos State Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment; Mrs. Lolade Aina, Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment; Adaobi Sandra Onyedum, Director-General of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce; and @flora.mbeledeogu, Founder/CEO of Made in Africa Brands Ambassador (MABA).
Representing NICCI, Mr. Ishmael Balogun, President of the Chamber, delivered a keynote presentation on “The Impact of Bilateral Trade on the Export of Finished Goods.” He emphasized the importance of value addition, technology transfer, strategic partnerships, and stronger Nigeria–Indonesia trade relations in expanding non-oil exports. He also encouraged businesses, particularly women-led enterprises, to leverage bilateral trade opportunities and international platforms such as the Nigeria–Indonesia Investment and Trade Forum (NIITF) 2026.
NICCI’s participation reflects the Chamber’s continued commitment to promoting bilateral trade, investment, export competitiveness, and sustainable economic growth between Nigeria and Indonesia.
