The 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI 2026) opened on 14 October at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE), BSD City, Tangerang, bringing together Indonesian exporters, international buyers and business leaders to explore trade opportunities and strengthen global business partnerships.
Running from 14 to 18 October 2026, the five-day exhibition is themed “The Ultimate Hub for Global Sourcing” and provides a platform for showcasing Indonesian products and services, connecting businesses with potential suppliers, exploring new markets, and building strategic commercial relationships.
The exhibition features product showcases, business-matching sessions, trade forums and networking opportunities designed to promote international trade and encourage collaboration between businesses across different markets.
For Nigerian businesses seeking to expand their international reach, Trade Expo Indonesia offers an opportunity to engage with Indonesian suppliers, identify potential business partners and explore opportunities for trade, investment, and commercial cooperation between both countries.
The event also comes at a significant time for Nigeria–Indonesia economic relations, as preparations continue for the 5th Nigerian–Indonesian Investment and Trade Forum (NIITF 2026), scheduled to hold in Jakarta on 20 and 21 October 2026.

NICCI President, Mr Ishmael Balogun, and the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, H.E. Bambang Suharto, with members of the NICCI delegation at the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI 2026) in Tangerang, Indonesia.
The proximity of both events highlights the importance of sustained business engagement and direct connections between the private sectors and platforms that translate shared economic interests into practical partnerships. By bringing businesses together, such initiatives can help identify areas of mutual interest, strengthen market access, and encourage greater cross-border investment.
For the Nigerian–Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI), Trade Expo Indonesia represents an important platform for encouraging Nigerian businesses to explore Indonesia’s diverse commercial opportunities and deepen engagement with Indonesian counterparts.
As attention turns to NIITF 2026, the Chamber looks forward to continued conversations that can strengthen bilateral trade, unlock investment opportunities and advance mutually beneficial economic cooperation between Nigeria and Indonesia.
Through initiatives such as Trade Expo Indonesia and NIITF, both countries have opportunities to build stronger business relationships and create a more connected environment for trade and investment.
